Unlock a Straight Talk Phone
Here are the steps to unlock a Straight Talk phone:
Dial *611 from your Straight Talk phone. This will bring you to the Straight Talk portal.
Enter your account PIN. The default PIN is the last 4 digits of your Straight Talk phone number. If you've changed it, enter your custom PIN.

Select "Unlock Phone".
You'll be prompted to enter your SIM Card Unlock PIN. If you don't know the SIM unlock PIN, follow the steps below:
- Go to straighttalk.com and log into your account.
- Select "Manage Account"
- Select "SIM Unlock"
- Enter your account username and password
- Follow the instructions to request your SIM unlock PIN. It will be emailed to the email address associated with your Straight Talk account.
Once you have the SIM unlock PIN, enter it when prompted on your Straight Talk phone.
Your phone will restart and should now be unlocked. You'll be able to use it with any carrier's SIM card.
Insert the new carrier's SIM card and power on your phone. It should boot up and connect to the new carrier's network.
