On the next screen, you can see “Who can see your status update”. Now if you want to hide your status from selected contacts then tap on “My contacts expect…” option.

And don’t forget to hit the green checkmark button on the bottom-right to confirm the changes. That’s it, you have now selected the contacts with whom you want to share your status update.
